His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. (Hosea 6:3)

Come Worship And Bow Down (Article)

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem. Isaiah 27:13 (KJV)
We are called to adore God, to worship Him in the beauty of holiness. The song O come all ye faithful shows it’s an urgent request, with its chorus “O Come Let Us Adore Him, Come Let Us Adore Him, Come Let Us Adore Him Christ the LORD.” From the beginning of the Bible, Genesis chapter 1, we are introduced to the Creator of heaven and earth. God who existed before time, space and matter, is the focus of our worship, of our adoration.

We worship God because He is our Creator, it is He that made use, we cannot make ourselves. We come into His house with praise on our lips and thanksgiving in our hearts. He made us because He loved us, even now while we are yet sinners, the blood which Christ shed for us, over two thousand years ago, still covers us. In Christ we have redemption through His blood, we have forgiveness of sins which He gives us through the riches of His grace.

We come to the altar of praise and stand faultless before the throne of The Father. O come let us adore Him, for He is holy. “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.”We are called to give God the glory, commanded to love Him with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our might.” Through this Love we have the confidence that God will listen when we speak and hears our supplications. The church is where God is. We love His habitation, His house, where His glory dwells. Here the LORD is in His holy Temple; all need to be silent before Him, give Him reverence.

We should not go near the altar, unless we take our shoes from off our feet. Here, we stand on holy ground. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; bring Him an offering. Let all His people fear the Lord: let them that are in His house, stand in awe of him. O come, let us worship and bow down: Let us kneel before the Lord our maker. O come let us adore Him, O come let us obey Him, Christ Our LORD

The time is soon to come, when we will see the object of our worship “face to face.” When we with the faithful of every nation will bow before our God in heavenly worship. As we practice here, so shall we teach and preach.
